Thank you GOD December 17, 2009

For the last few weeks, I have been a lazy gal. I did nothing significant except indulged myself with instant foods and stared at the ceiling and my laptop blankly thinking of nothing. What a life!

That’s how I “enjoyed” the backseat for a while. I felt tired after hurdling some emotional tremors. But after our year-end thanksgiving in our church, I felt energized and realized that I was so blessed despite challenges.

For sure, there will be moments of doing nothing significant in the coming days, weeks, months, and years. I believe that it’s alright to stop and rest for a while without stumbling on roads less travelled.

For all that has been and for all that will be, I thank all people who are always there for me. My heart overflows with gratitude to my Creator as I say:

 For my life and health,
Thank you God.

For splendid days,
Thank you God.

For the trials and heartaches that make me stronger and a better person,
Thank you God.

For my friends and family, and
for all the wonderful things that you do for us,
Thank you God.

For cleansing my heart and my life,
Thank you God.

For all those you withheld,
Thank you God.

For all those you permitted,
Thank you God.

For the place you are keeping for me in heaven,
Thank you God.

For Your immeasurable and unconditional love,
I will forever be grateful, Oh God!
