Being young and free November 27, 2008
Posted by Diadem in : Lessons in life , trackbackIn most of my travels, children’s smiles always mesmerize me.
I see new hopes, new dreams, and effervescent world with their innocent but witty thoughts as they speak their minds rich with hearty giggled expressions.
I love children for they easily get contented and appreciative for any little acts that you show and shower them.
Jaceff, for example, a three-year old little girl in my boarding house, moved my heart when she said, “Tita Dem, love kita,” while I was cuddling and tickling her. In elation, I treated her with a value meal at nearby Jollibee for those sweet words, not as a reward, but a deeper appreciation straight from the heart. And after eating in Jollibee, I asked her if she was happy. “Syempre naman! (Of course),” she said unconditionally.
At my age today, I am trying my best to retain the “child” in me by…
Laughing heartily…
Enjoying every moment…
Keeping dreams and aspirations flying high…
Staying happy no matter how difficult life is…
